Dr. Prashanta MallickMBBS, DCH, FRACGP (Director). Dr Mallick completed fellowship through the Royal Australian College of General Practice 2007. Currently he is also the supervisor for GP registrar training and completed the Australian Medical Council examination with high distinction. He used to work in Westmead hospital to finish his clinical training. He worked in the emergency department for many years and his key interests include diabetes, COPD, skin cancer detection/management, contraception (IUD and implanon), family planning and chronic disease management.
Dr. Mary Iskander Paediatrician MBBS MPH FRACP ------------------ Dr Mary Iskander is a general and behavioural paediatrician who has worked in different hospital settings as well as the general community. She is well experienced in common paediatric problems, developmental and behavioural assessments. Dr Iskander has trained at the Children Hospital at Westmead and worked in different urban and rural settings. Areas of special interest for Dr Iskander are childhood asthma, weight management, sleep difficulties, challenged learning, and developmental concerns in children..
Dr Nineveh LatifMBBS, FRACGP, Cert Sexual and Reproductive Health - Health Interests : Sexual and reproductive health, Mirena insertion and removal, Iron infusion, Skin cancer include Melanoma and Non-Melanoma and cancer excision. Dr. Nineveh Latif completed her fellowship through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Her clinical interests in skin cancer include Melanoma and Non-Melanoma and cancer excision directed her to successfully complete her extended skill certificate with Sonic Skin cancer clinical audit. She is equipped with the broad range of General Practice skills which she has acquired during her specialty training in rural and regional NSW. She is highly skilled in skin lesion excisions, laceration repair and suturing, Mirena insertion and removal, implanon insertion and removal and most other office-based procedures. Nineveh has a particular passion for women’s health and children’s health and preventative medicine. She is focussed not only on treatment of illness, but on the promotion of health and well-being and illness prevention for her patients and health consumers. She has also gained the National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health through the Family Planning Alliance Australia. Nineveh is a highly skilled practitioner and we are thrilled that she has chosen to join us at Walter Road medical centre in order to help us provide medical care of the very highest quality to our patients.
