Doctors

Dr. Prashanta Mallick MBBS, DCH, FRACGP (Director). Dr Mallick completed fellowship through the Royal Australian College of General Practice 2007. Currently he is also the supervisor for GP registrar training and completed the Australian Medical Council examination with high distinction. He used to work in Westmead hospital to finish his clinical training. He worked in the emergency department for many years and his key interests include diabetes, COPD, skin cancer detection/management, contraception (IUD and implanon), family planning and chronic disease management.

Dr. Mary Iskander Paediatrician MBBS MPH FRACP ------------------ Dr Mary Iskander is a general and behavioural paediatrician who has worked in different hospital settings as well as the general community. She is well experienced in common paediatric problems, developmental and behavioural assessments. Dr Iskander has trained at the Children Hospital at Westmead and worked in different urban and rural settings. Areas of special interest for Dr Iskander are childhood asthma, weight management, sleep difficulties, challenged learning, and developmental concerns in children..

Ms Catherine Lok Dietician (APD Accredited) ----------------Ms Catherine Lok is a trilingual Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) (English, Cantonese, Mandarin) with abundant experience in private practice and community settings since graduating from Master’s degree in USYD in 2014. Her dietetic consultation service includes counselling elements to allow her patients having a clear direction and feel positive towards managing their personal relationships with their health and daily diet, and eventually achieving their goals. Catherine’s areas of interest are weight management, chronic diseases (e.g. cardiovascular heart diseases, diabetes, bone health, liver diseases), mental health, eating disorder, pregnancy, fertility and general health in life stages.
